Drop-in Centre

Since we opened the centre in July 2006 more than 200 street children have been identified, registered and attended there.
The drop-in centre offers an ongoing attendance and able to attend an average of 25 children per day. Street children are offered basic hygiene: taking shower, washing and changing their clothes.
They receive psychological and spiritual assistance and at least two meals a day.
They also attend in the centre a basic bridging education of literacy and numeracy so that after a while they would be able to go back to the formal education.
Older children are offered a labor therapy and vocational training.
Children can participate in sport and outdoor activities.
