SHELTER

After a long journey through the 1st step of street and the 2nd step of the drop-in centre children can enter the shelter.
There is a so called transitory shelter in which children spend few days or weeks or even months according to their readiness and determination towards the change of their lives.
This moment twelve children are protected at the shelter. Their age varies between 11 and 17. All of them at school.
There is a plan for 2008 to construct an extension to the existing building, expanding the facilities of attendance and to enable Dinaledi House to accommodate 30 youngsters.
